Minna Kohler, M.D. RhMSUS, is the Founder & Director of the Rheumatology Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSKUS) Program & Director of the Oncorheumatology Program at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH)/ Harvard Medical School. She is key faculty for the MGH rheumatology fellowship, Spaulding PM&R residency programs, & adjunct faculty for the MGH Emergency Medicine Ultrasound fellowship program. She teaches MSKUS at all training levels from medical school to faculty in multiple specialties. Dr. Kohler is president of USSONAR (Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists) & medical advisory chair for the Arthritis Foundation MA board. She actively promotes ultrasound training through the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) (MSKUS Education and RhMSUS certification exam subcommittees), has been an invited speaker and instructor for courses at the ACR, AIUM, and other regional, national, & international courses. Dr. Kohler's clinical interests are in inflammatory arthritides including PsA/ SpA, crystal-related arthropathies, immunotherapy related and cancer related inflammatory arthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis & ultrasound-guided procedures. Her research interests are in ultrasound imaging in arthritis & vasculitis, medtech innovation, & novel therapeutics, including cellular therapies. Authored books include top-selling "Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Rheumatology Review, 2nd ed." & Clinical Atlas of MSK Ultrasound in Rheumatology.
