Dr. Janeth Yinh, RhMSUS, serves as Associate Director of the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. She completed her fellowship training at Tufts Medical Center, where she subsequently spent a decade as Director of the Rheumatology Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Clinic before joining MGH in 2019.
Dr. Yinh played a key role in developing the American College of Rheumatology musculoskeletal ultrasound certification exam in Rheumatology (RhMSUS). She is actively involved in education and mentorship as part of the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists training program and serves on its Committee on Education. She currently chairs the ACR Ultrasound Conference Planning Subcommittee and is Co-Chair of the ACR Ultrasound Conference for 2024 and 2025.
Her clinical and research interests focus on the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnosis and procedural guidance in inflammatory and crystalline arthritis, as well as broader musculoskeletal disorders—including immune checkpoint inhibitor–related arthritis. She is also actively involved in clinical trials studying gout, pseudogout, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and immunotherapy-related arthritis.
